CARMEN

When my eyes first kissed you

I realized how beautiful a woman could be

Peter Pan was captured by your charms

While you were breathtakingly free.

A burnished beauty made to caress

Every part of you hypnotized me

I was lost in a fog of infatuation

And too embarrassed to make you see.

Then time crossed our paths again

And I wondered if time would be kind

Now your beauty is blessed with soul

And enhanced with a frolicking mind.

Now when I look into your eyes

And I see fire trembling with fear

I see reflections of my loneliness

And my desire to have you near.

If I could deliver the moon

If I were able to touch your heart

I would give you everything

Including the bottom of my heart.

I missed your charms the first time

But fate was kind with a second chance.

Because I can I sleep knowing you know

And that we embraced in a wonderful dance.

Bless you Carmen and always be safe – I enjoyed my sweet little dance with you.
